Like Israel, Canadian Zionists will pulverize everything for their beloved supremacist state. The only way to defeat this type of bully is to match their intensity and seek to cripple their authoritarian institutions.
Recently ten lawyers and the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation sent a letter to the Law Society of Ontario to call on them to hear a motion to prevent graduates of Toronto Metropolitan University’s (TMU) law school from ever practising in the province. They want the Law Society to revoke TMU’s law degree granting authority because students at that university stood against the genocidal Jewish supremacist state.
The move is outrageous. In any sensible society, the lawyers sending the letter would have their right to practise questioned.
Concurrently, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) “is lobbying the federal government to expand the grounds by which Canadian citizenship can be revoked.” According to The Maple, between March and July CIJA communicated with Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree, CSIS director Dan Rogers and Conservative MP Shuvaloy Majumdar on the matter. According to filings with the federal lobbyist registry, the official advocacy agent of Canada’s Jewish federations expressed: “Continued support for revocation of citizenship in cases involving war crimes, crimes against humanity, terrorism, and extreme promotion of hate; strengthened screening to bar entry and deny citizenship to individuals who pose security threats or have ties to extremist or terrorist organizations; removal of individuals already in Canada who obtained status through false representation; establishment of a fast-track removal stream for high-risk individuals linked to foreign extremist organizations; accelerated removals for individuals convicted of violent crimes; and standalone immigration consequences for expressing support for listed terrorist entities, even in the absence of criminal convictions.”
CIJA is the main organization that got the Trudeau government to list the Vancouver-based Samidoun Palestinian Political Prisoners Solidarity Network a terrorist organization two years ago. Now they want to expel Canadians from the country for “expressing support” for that grassroots anti-apartheid and anti-genocide organization.
As they push to expand the parameters to revoke citizenship, they are also pushing to expand the terrorism list. Currently CIJA is campaigning to add Palestine Action Canada, Masar Badil and Kata’ib Hezbollah to the terrorism list. If they succeed with these organizations, they will no doubt push for other groups to be banned and to have people expelled from the country for “expressing support” for those organizations.
In the UK, Lawyers for Israel is seeking to have Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) listed as a terrorist organization. The genocide lobby group recently wrote the country’s Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood calling on her to investigate and potentially proscribe a group that does medical and humanitarian work in 70 countries. If they succeed in the UK expect a similar push against MSF in Canada.
Unfortunately, this authoritarian supremacist thinking is well rooted institutionally. There is a large network of Canadian schools, synagogues and summer camps that teach the young to identity with Israel and to defend whatever crimes that state commits. Most of them are subsidized by all taxpayers through direct grants and tax-deductible donations through charitable giving.
Based upon their actions, including those outlined above, supporters of Israel will try to use their power, no matter the morality of their actions, to crush anyone and everyone they deem enemies.
If the left doesn’t want to be crushed by these authoritarian genocidal supremacists, we must work to isolate and defund Zionist organizations. Step by step, institution by institution, we must take away their power.
